Brrrrr…2023…A Happy New Year..…Ice and Snow……and Chinese New Year!
We have been learning about the North Pole and the South Pole. The children enjoyed playing with big chunks of ice and then were delighted with the arrival of “Sneachta” in our big “Tuf Tray”. We chatted about the different animals who live in the North Pole and South Pole - especially An Béar Bán, an Phiongain, agus an Rón!
We also marked the beginning of The Year of the Rabbit making lovely lanterns and listening to the story of how the years got their special names!
